If you are owner of a BMW S1000RR from 2012 onwards or a S1000R probably you will know the “Fastest Lap Anticipated” light, if you do not know instead I’ll explain below.
In the dashboard of your bike is a laptimer that can be activated manually via the flashing button, or you can store the lap times fully automatically thanks to our specific product for BMW B-Tronic BW400. By activating the stopwatch on the instrument panel also it activates a special feature of the dashboard BMW very useful for those who love to improve their track times.
When you start a new lap your intermediate times are taken every 100mt of the track and compared with the corresponding intermediate times of the best lap stored in memory. If your intermediate times show that you are faster than on your previous best lap the processor anticipates that this lap will be your new best time. The indicator for the fastest lap lights up. In this way at any point of the track you will know if you are riding or not the best lap with a quick glance.
In the B-Tronic page (click here) you can download the user manual, and discover all the features of the product.
