It was held last weekend in Imola the second stage of the Italian Championship GP250. A good start for Giacomo Lucchetti, who won the second place in the tests, even though he had never raced on this circuit.

The day started in a positive way … Lucchetti compete in third position until the seventh lap, when Binucci (first at that time) slides; the pilot in second position slows down to avoid him and Giacomo took advantage of overcoming them.

At this point the outcome of the race will be decided by bad weather: before the end of the seventh round a storm hits the track and the race directors decided to wave the red flag and stop the race. The ranking is that of the last completed lap (the sixth) in which Lucchetti was still third…
