Description
The OBD interface for cars connects directly to the universal diagnostic port of all latest-generation cars.
The cable on the back provides the following signals, which are useful for operating many aftermarket accessories, as well as our gear indicators (GT3000 and GT400) and our LT2000 overrev indicator.
+12V Ignition-activated (the OBD 2 port only has a fixed power supply; OBD100 turns on the connected device when it receives the engine speed signal)
GND Ground
RPM Engine speed signal
SPEED Speed signal
ALARM Active low temperature alarm signal, adjustable using the trimmer on the back of the interface
